I do not know your source of information but just looking at this forum I have found several incidents of this happening before. There was even a case brought against Volvo in Puerto Rico. Please type "Airbag" and do a search of this forum and you will be surprised.

You seem bent on proving that I am without merit. Believe me Sir, it happened just as I reported and Volvo has already by their actions admitted liability. I am making copies of the numerous reports found here, and after I have satisfied my Lawyer's needs I will gladly send you copies and references on where to find them yourself. I dont know if you are as dedicated to driving Volvos as I am but for your information I have been driving them since my first 164E. I swear by Volvos, but nobody comes between me and my family's safety.
