AIRBAG EXPLOSION 850T

I am sorry that my title was rather vague and being new to this forum did not think of the repercussions. However, another participant (in this thread)searched and was surprised at what he found. I dont know what you looked at and I am not going to argue with you. Volvo sent out an engineer within 24 hours of the incident, examined the car, agreed with the report, replaced the damaged items at their own expense, and we are at the moment dealing with the other aspects of the claim.

You can question and doubt the verasity of the report as much as you want but I can assure you that I have not been the first to experience this and I may not be the last. Volvo has in their posession all the damaged components and I have been told that they have been checked. I however have not been privy to the results but I am sure that they would not have repaired my car at their expense if the car had been in an accident.

You seem like the type of guy who will not stop till you get to the bottom of whatever it is that you lock on to. Well, make another search on "airbag" and see if you missed anything previously. Dont hesitate to scroll through the pages.
