I am really glad that there is someone else out there that searched the Forum and found other incidents of airbags going off spontaneously. There is a subscriber named TIM who has taken me to task over my question. He says I am probably not telling the truth that it happened. Since my incident I personally have read several stories about this happening to other people but he claims that his search of "airbag" turns up nothing.

Could you reply to this and post some references- that you found, so he can read and be edified. At the moment I do not have the time to get him more proof without posting information that would prejudice my damage claim and relations with Volvo.
