Key for my S70 1999

My 2000 S70 is at the dealer right now getting a new piston cooler kit installed (it was making noise), but I had them make me an extra key and reprogram a remote I got off ebay. They orginally wanted $140 for the key and even more for a new remote. I called around to private volvo shops and other dealers in Atlanta just to find all of them quote about the same. I was able to call back the dealer and talk him down to $100 for the key and reprogramming the remote. I never thought of calling locksmith's though. That's probally a good idea. I would think volvo would over a second key rather cheap to keep customers happy, but who knows?

Also, do the dealers in your area's use courtsey cars when they must keep your car over night? The one I go to here in altanta was trying to give me an Enterprise rental car when they didn't get to my car yesterday. What ever happened to like make and model for a replacement?
