wet carpet! S70 1998

Hi. Hope someone can help me out here. After buying my car used, I found that the carpet on the drivers side (mostly front, but a little in back as well) was soaked... really soaked. The first time it happened I went to the gas station and vacuumed it out and life was good again. The second time it happened, I took it to a dealership. After leaving the car with them for a weekend, they called me up and said they couldn't find or fix the problem but they did take out my carpet to dry and that would cost me $250 for labor. After "discussing" it with them for a little bit, they decided not to charge me, but said I could not take my car back to them for that problem again. Anyway, they checked the A/C drain and window sills... but said they didn't find anything. Anybody here have this problem and a solution?? I know my driver's side window is doesn't go up ALL the way to the top, but I've never had water come in on me, NOR have I seen water drip there except when I use a high-pressure water hose on it. TIA for any help.
