Here's a suggestion... 850 1995

No problem, just glad I could help. I thought your situation sounded a lot like my own. There's only one thing from that area that could cause a grinding noise like that (aside from the engine itself!) and that's a bad wiper motor.

A new motor will cost you about $165.00 US. A used one usually runs about $85.00 US. You have to remove the headlight and bumper to install unfortunately. A bit labor intensive, but nothing that the owner can't handle.
