VDO Boost Gauge Installation -- INSTALLATION COMPLETE V70-XC70 1998

HOORAY!!! Started and finished the installation last Saturday. And I learned/devised a few tricks along the way that neither the enclosed instructions nor VOLVOSPEED mentioned. Indeed, if you follow those procedures, you will have a devil of a time getting the vacuum tube through the firewall "pass thru". If anybody is getting ready to install one, give me a shout, and I will pass alongs a few tips.

It is mesmerizing ... and a bit dangerous to keep watching the dancing needle as I accelerate, gear down, push her into boost, etc. I really oughta be watching the road, but ... you know .....

This was a classic case of the "Seven Ps" principle: Proper Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance.
