Baby due October = 1995 Volvo 850 Turbo? 850

I'm looking into buying a 95 850 turbo with 71K. The car has all the options and seems to have been well taken care of providing it's exterior and interior appearance. However looks can be deceiving and I have no maintenance history to go on. Having said that, can anyone out there make me feel good about the 850t's reliability? Volvo's longevity is legendary. My great Uncle drove nothing but Volvo's and would tell me when his hit 100,000 miles..."she's just getting broken in". That was the truth, he kept them forever. Can I expect many years from this car? I'm currently driving an Eclipse AWD GSX and don't want to give up too much performance/fun. The price seems right for the area I live in, asking $11,500. I'll haggle a bit. Looking for some experienced opinions.
