Bilstein Touring Class Struts DONT WORK!!!! 850 1996

Ok.

Some more clarification.

I did replace the tires my 850 Wagon came with (Kelly Tires Brand) with Bridgestone Turanza LSH tires recommended by Tire Rack over Michelins to be smoother riding and better traction and they DID make a marked improvement but not sufficient enough to send me searching in replacement of new front struts and here i am.

I did also make sure that the tire pressure was not too high to add to the rougher ride.

You are right Matt!!! These cars suspension is very rough on bad roads, BUT!!!! I also own a 98 S 70 and on the same roads bumps etc (with shitty no name brand tires) my S 70 FLOATS over these bumps to make me think "was there even a bump on the road"

The think tank at volvo DEFINITELY redid the front and rear suspension in the 98 and up Volvos and even made it better for the 2001 V 70's.

Ali
