Hello, 5 months ago I adjusted the turbo actuator rod on my T-5R about 3 or 4 turns. At first I did notice a difference but also noted the engine beginning to redline at peek revs. Due to this I adjusted the rod back to stock form. At the time I had just purchased the car and was a little hesitant to modify it so soon. After getting used to the 240+ HP I put the rod back up to where I first adjusted it, and the difference was almost un-noticable. On previous posts/sites I have read about the ecu in the 850's having the capability to learn and adjust the boost when it is changed, in a sense making any kind of manual adjustment to the wastegate useless. Is this true, or am I not turning the rod enough to notice a difference? I have installed a vdo boost gauge to moniter the boost and it doesn't seem to go above 11 psi or so, even on the R's overboost. I have a cat back free flow exhaust and K&N cone air filter to help the turbo breath better, would these mods allow to turn up the boost a slight bit more, or would that significantly increase the chance of engine trouble? Also what would be a safe boost level for a 95 T-5R with 132,000 miles and the aforementioned mods? Thanks for reading. Kevin
