Bilstein Touring Class Struts DONT WORK!!!! 850 1995

springs and the way the subframes are mounted contribute quite a bit. and the 850 chassis seem to be very noisy (charles at volvospeed put in a roll cage and he says every nuance dissappeared). the newer 2001-on v70 has a redesigned chassis that's suppposed a lot stiffer and a larger wheel well so this enables softer springs and thicker 17" (235-45 instead of 205-45) that doesn't jar the car.

well, glad to know someone tried out the bilstein tc. have u replaced the springs? also, check the upper strut mounts up front...i had those replaced and the car seemed to be a little more solid and supple (first impressions after replacing those).
