No A/C with accelerator 850 1996

Hello all,

I've got a '96 850 turbo wagon that has an interesting a/c problem. Whenever I apply the accelerator to ac seems to shut off. Could this be a faulty a/c cut out switch? It doesn't seem to matter how hard I step on the gas. A/C is nice and cold when the car is idleing. Is there anyway to jumper the a/c clutch to run continiously?
