same problem last month. replaced sensor (about $170 incl labor) and have not had recurrance of CEL. The sensor is located next to your front right headlamp (according to the tech who replaced mine). it's probably something you could do yourself quite easily. i can't imagine any harm from replacing it, and it doesn't seem worth paying labor for.
