Rapid headlight burnouts V70-XC70 2001

posted by  someone claiming to be 6 volvos in the driveway on  Fri Jul 5 05:57 CST 2002 [RELATED]

Why did volvo make the V70's go through soooo many headlights and tail lights. Our 2001 V70 has gone through 4-5 headlights and 2 tiallights in under a year. Is there any bad connection that is causing this??? What can been done to improve it? Is the dealer the only way to go about getting the daytime running lights turned off?
