Help ! - How to Get Stripped Thermostat Housing Bolt Out? 850

The Torx # 40 sized bolt in my thermostat housing is stripped- i.e.,

the bolt is in so tight that when I tried to unloosen it with the # 40 Torx socket it rounded out the shoulders of the head of the bolt.

How should I get this out? My thought is to drill out the head of the bolt which should allow me to get the thermostat housing out.

The hopefully, the remainder of the bolt will come out easily.

Any thought??
