Help on buying an 850 850

Hi vlvo
I am in pretty same position like you are. I am looking for Volvo 850 5-6 years old. By the chance I was lucky to talk with owner of car I would like to have. I got very interesting info. His car is 5 years old and got only about 55000 miles no it. The only problem, car is having, is fuel system. Actual problem looks like suddenly engine doesn't get enough fuel. First time he thought he filled car with poor quality fuel. After third case he brought car to service center. By himself he could not find relations between all cases. It happened on the different speed and after different time of driving. They detected the problem and ready to fix it for $850.
What I would like to ask is it common case with Volvo engine?
