93 850gle 850

JoeNH,

I bought a '93 850GLT w/82,000 in 3-00 for $10,000. Sadly, I totaled the car a few weeks ago (i'm just fine, thank you) The car had 135,000 on it. I liked the car and am sad to see it go. I did have a rear main seal go, the PNP switch was replaced, the driver's seat heater also, as was 1 front wheel bearing. I did all the work myself.

I maintained the car myself, and was quite anal about it! The car had new front brakes when purchased, and was in need of new fronts (calipers & pads)53,000 on the brakes, not bad! Rears were still OK. My transmission "acted up" occasionally. The car would not downshift, then it would "clunk" when taking off. It was intermittent, and appeared to be electrical in nature.

FWIW, I put money down on a '96 850 Turbo wagon this weekend. I hope it will be as good a car as my '93 was.
