Death to the 850, Long Live the Turbo!

June 16, 2002...

My beloved '93 850GLT and I slide off the rain-slicked road while trying to negotiate a 90 degree left-hand turn. Off the road I go, and over some VERY big (washing machine sized) boulders. I have a little bump on the head, and a seat belt burn on my neck, but the 850 doesn't do so well. The under-carridge is torn up badly, roof line is buckled. The insurance company deems it a "total loss"

July 6, 2002...

After searching for a "new" car, I come upon a '96 850 Turbo wagon. Money is exchanged between myself and the dealership. The car will be ready to pick up sometimes during the week. WOOHOO! Long live the Turbo!
