Amsoil voids manufacturer warranty?

Does anyone know if using Amsoil (dare I say scamsoil) voids the volvo factory warranty due to the fact that it is not API certified and the volvo manual recommends using and API certified oil?

I read in an earlier post that API certification is very basic and doesn't hold a lot of weight in the engineering field...and that AMSoil doesn't feel the need to bow to substandard certifications...wouldn't they just want to have the certification to protect their customers warranties on their vehicles? If the product is higher quality, why be afraid of the API certification test...or could their oil not pass it?

I'd like to believe, but this smells like that old "Marvel Mystery Oil".

Are their any high performance vehicles which roll off the line with scamsoil in them? Like porsche does with Mobil1 or others with Valvoline syth?
