Control arm failure 850

Control arms are available through online suppliers if you'd like to tackle it yourself or just buy the parts and have an independent mechanic do the work. IPD sells them for around $145 for the arm (with bushings) and ball joint.

Go to: http://www.ipdusa.com/ProductsList.aspx?subSubCategoryID=197

Looks like about $400 in parts for the tie rod ends, boots and arms. Do both sides. Check other advertisers on this site for prices also.

Mine's a 95 with 83k miles so I'll be looking at this pretty soon too. I've been meaning to get into an alignment shop soon.
