Trans Fluid Change Question 850 1996

Do it yourself, like this:

Get 11 qts tranny fluid, and 1 can of BG tranny cleaner, 1 can of BG tranny conditioner.
Add the cleaner, let it idle for 15 mins. Shut off. Dissconnect the upper hose to the tranny cooler. Add a 3' length of 1/2 " ID clear hose into a container that'll hold 3 gals. Put the end into the container. Start the car, as SOON as you see bubbles, shut it off, add 2 qts, do again, and again until it's clear, , about 9 - 10 qts. Before the 11th qt, add the BG conditioner. Reconnect hose to cooler, and start car, top off correctly. Takes about 30 mins. Cost is about $55 with BG products... (They're about $17 per can) Good for another 20K miles.. If you tow anything, then do it at 15K....
