Trans Fluid Change Question 850 1995

Ed,

You are correct because Moregolf method was to flush via the upper hose. I did it via the lower hose which required one to disconnect the hose from the tranny and plugged the hole on the tranny - battery and the front plastic guard pan are needed to be removed to access the hose union nuts (22mm). A 22mm cresent wrench and a 22mm crow foot are used to lose the union nuts. Tranny fluid is coming out from upper hose into the cooler within the radiator and then flows back to tranny via the lower hose.

Hope this help.
