'96 850 Turbo correct thermostat temp? 850 1996

What is the correct temperature rating for the 850 Turbo? My owner's manual states 87C for the Turbo. However, looking through previous posts on the subject some folks are reporting 92C for theirs.

I just received a 92C from IPD and am wondering if I should use it or go with Volvo OEM.

BTW purchased the car (96 Turbo with 95K, dealer maintained) last month after looking for a while and reading info on Brickboard for what to be aware of. Great car but haven't driven it much - can't wait for the first road trip across the Painted Desert & Monument Valley heading to UT & CO!

I've done the 90K service plus replace dist cap & rotor, will do the fuel filter in the next week.
