My clutch is dying V70-XC70 2001

Here we are, just past 30 thousand miles, and the clutch is acting out. Works just fine in normal driving, but ride it a little, as in easing into a tight spot, and the sucker sticks to the floor. Anyone? Is this a known and acknowleged problem or should I take the giant tube of Preparation H when I go see the Volvo dudes? The brake fluid resevoir doesn't seem to be going down, so I don't think that there is an external fluid leak, but I've been really wrong about stuff in the past...
