strut-tower braces and bracket on top of PASSENGER side tower V70-XC70 1999

Hello,
I've been thinking about getting a front strut tower brace. My car has a mounting bracket (for an antifreeze overflow reservoir, I think) which is spot-welded to the top of the PASSENGER side tower. What I'm wondering is: How am I supposed to make the mounting bracket lie flush against the tower with this thing in the way? From what I can tell from pictures I've seen of the OMP, IPD, and Volvo braces, it looks like the brace's mounting bracket for the passenger side would have to go OVER the mounting bracket for the reservoir, resulting in a not-so-flush fit. Am I missing something here? After scouring the archives here, I've seen several discussions about a bracket for some ABS component on the DRIVER side tower. I think this was for 850's, not V70's. But I've seen no mention of this bracket on the PASSENGER side tower.

Any help welcome.

Thanks,
Alvin
