rear seal leak on 850 850 1996

so i brought my 850 into the dealership today, and they quoted me 8 hours of labour and 900$ CAD to fix the main seal.

the leak is not very serious, but it looks like a lot of oil down there. i am not noticing much change in the oil on the dipstick.

i'm going to go on a roadtrip through the rockies at the end of the week. i'm planning to change my oil before. do you think i should have them replace the seal now, or can i just live with it? it's a little unexpected service taht just sort of popped up.
