Volvos OEM foglamps aren't really built for continual usage, they're more for show IMHO as they'll never last long if used daily by design. If you continue to use the daily, you'll also end up melting the lamp bases and/or housings too. The older cars fogs were so "excellant" that the whole housing would blow apart from heat if used too long.
I'd advise not using them daily, use them WHEN needed, like when it's foggy outside as that's what they're designed for, not for lookin' cool.
