850's Folding Up 850

I believe that was an erroneos circumstance. Of course, if you get high enough forces concentrated at the right place and right angle you can fold just about anything. I remember that post, it was by Cynthia I believe, and though I give her the benefit of the doubt you must keep in mind she absolutely hates anything Volvo produced that was driven by the front or all wheels. Read: information may be a little skewed. As for me, I drive RWD Volvos, but I also believe that Volvo doesn't spend millions on crash centers, accident investigation teams etc. etc. just to make commercials that say they do or for purely marketing related purposes. If a 850, or any passenger car is hit by a tall, heavy truck at high speeds the chance of survival is severly cinched. The safety structures in the cars can handle alot, but when a truck hits a portion of the car that was not designed the be hit with such great force, you want to hope you have good life insurance.
