Hi Erwin

I just had this same problem with the cel. Go to volvospeed.com and look at the diagnostic chapter, pay attention to the last 2 sentences about having to clear codes in other ports beside A2, then clearing A2 codes to get the cel to clear. Hope this leads you down the right path.
