Stereo and Front Speaker Question S40-V40

My drivers side front door Woofer went out this weekend so I have purchased a pair of Kenwood eXcelon KFC-Xr51P's to replace the front door and front deck speakers. After dismantling my car tonight I found the colored wires coming out of the stereo that corespond to the speaker wires in the front. The thing is that I know these wires split somewhere in order to provide power to the Woofer and the Tweeter that currently exist in the car. (I know this because only one Brown and White wire come out of the stereo and both the Woofer and the Tweeter have a brown and white wire going to them. The wire that comes out of the Stereo is about a 16 gauge wire and the wire that go to the speakers is an 18 gauge). Same for the other side just a different color.

I was wondering if anyone had found this connector that splits the speaker output yet and if they have, what did it take to get to it and where is it located?!

Also, I got the premium sound system with my car. It said that the speakers were powered by a 4x35 watt amp. I did not see an amp in the car. Is the amp buit into the Stereo? If not, does anyone know where it is located? On the back of the Stereo, there is an outlet that says AMP but there is nothing connected to it.

Thank you in advance for your help.
