Alternator 850 1996

Sorry to weigh in so late, but I've only just seen this posting. I have a '96 855 and if I'm not careful to close the rear gate firmly the courtesy light will stay on. So far I haven't been able to locate the switch, but I'm certain that it's a simple fix. Such a condition would certainly drain the battery over the course of twelve days.
