A/C Evaporator Replacement 850 1994

Replaced my own evap. in a 1993 850. It is a tedious job but a clean job. Took about 16 hours b/c I did not know what I was doing. In the end it was successful. If you do not have a pollen filter, there is a kit you can purchase and I highly recommend installing one to keep the crud out of the evap. this will help extend the life. I have also read some posts about replacement evap. cores made of copper. Not sure if they tout a longer life or not, but worth a check. I have the Ford spring lock connector tool set, which is the same for Volvo. Careful if you disconnect the heater hose - you will see some spillage. I have been told the 94 interior is a little easier to work on than the 93. First thing I would recommend you do is take out both seats.
