Hi ya,

i know where your are looking. We have these in our kettles in the Uk to stop the limescale getting into your drinks. To get it out you will have to drop out the container i think. Its held up by two bolts underneath and maybe one on top when i was thinking of taking mine out, so gave it a miss. The down pipe pops out quite easily though.
