Heater Hoses Won't Stay In!

Today I flushed the coolant in my '96 855T. I pulled out the heater hoses to flush the heater core.

Bad mistake!

The upper hoses' plastic retainer will not "pop out" to retain the hose in the firewall. Can I get just new plastic retainers? My first day of vacation didn't go so well!
