Solar sensor for electronic climate control, and LED to indicate alarm status. If you have ECC, when you turn into bright sunlight, the fan speed/temp will adjust the A/C to maintain set temp. The fan will increase in speed, but not always noticable. If it clouds over, speed will be reduced, but only if the system is set to auto function. When the alarm is armed, the LED will blink slowly. If alarm is triggered, it blinks rapidly. If no alarm, no blink.
