Do not consider it if you don't get e-codes, too S70

You should get e-code lenses to go along with HID. The lenses are about $125 each and replace the worthless DOT lenses currently on your car. In fact, with e-codes, you might not consider HID to be quite so necessary. The Volvo e-codes for the SVC70's are superior to most competing euros, including Audi and BMW. My car, running Philips VisionPlus halogens behind e-codes actually puts more light on the pavement than my friend's HID-equipped Audi A-6 and TT. (Though his light is admittedly whiter, there just isn't as much of it.)

Of course, if you put 5000K HID's behind Volvo e-codes, you' d be doing *almost* as well as the Benzmobiles, which have the best lighting in the auto world today. You'll find 4100K isn't as white as the Benzes; the output would be shaded a bit toward the warmer side of the color spectrum. Still, the light would be noticeably whiter than the 2900-3100K output from the top halogens available today.

autolamps-online is an excellent group to do business with and would be highly recommended by any one of us who has experience with their services.
