I remember (If I don't remember wrong) two forum members having the Equus and being satisfied with it. You may want to check http://www.obdii.com and http://www.obd-2.com[(?) not sure about the dash] many forum members bought theirs from these websites too. I guess those one's have to be connected to a laptop/PC/Palm via RS-232, but in my case I wouldn't like to connect the device to the car, run up to second floor connect it to the PC (no laptops unfortunately) and learn what's going on. However, they have some fancy engine and power statistics graphs kept in your computer too. What I suggest, take a tour of these websites, decide which one to buy. You may try to search the archive also, there were some guys writing comments for the scanners they've bought thru above websites.
