odometer quit. Anybody got a fix? 850 1985

I've got a better one for you. My car's odometer (the manual one) is running in kilometers and the trip computer odometer is in miles. The car has been that way since I bought it at 50K miles (or km?) in Jan 2001 and I didn't recognize the problem until I took a road trip. I'm assuming that the car is originally canadian and that the trip computer was replaced in the US. It makes for an interesting time because I'm always multiplying the km on the odometer by 0.6 to get the miles...which is always equivalent to the trip computer.
