HELP! Rear main seal leak advice needed 850 1996

Robo,

How can the indy mechanic tell if it's fresh oil seeping out, or just "old" oil that wasn't cleaned out thoroughly, still making its way out the hole. Perhaps a flourecent dye could be added to the oil? If it is indeed fresh oil, I would be all over the techs who installed the rear main seal to replace it under warranty...

Good Luck!
