Help ... Flat Tire on an AWD ... what are my options? V70-XC70 1998

Just needed some ideas. Woke up this morning and found my front right tire flat. It is a small cut perhaps less than 1/2 an inch. Tried pumping the tire but the air leak through the cut is too quick. Wondering what my options are? I know about AWD and the notoriusly stringent requirement to have all 4 wheel wheels with same treads.

1. Is a small cut on a tire repairable? Or am I doomed to buy a set of new tires?
2. If the tire is a goner, should I buy one of these cans of foam repair and buy some tire while I shop for a set of new tires.
3. Does Volvo VIP protection help at all in this matter?
