Used 1998 V70 Turbo AWD.... What to look out for V70-XC70

Hellgo All

I own a 1996 850 Wagon and am really happy with the car except for the rough suspension which drives me NUTS!!! Dont ask me i have changed just about EVERYTHING i could to make the ride over bumps smoother but no luck.

Anyways........ I am looking at a 1998 Used V70 with 53000 miles for $16500 which i know is a good deal. But i dont want to get into a wagon (after selling my 850) which will give me tons of headaches with repair bills. Normal wear and tear i can handle. Being in the shop all the time i cannot!!!!!

So all you out there, lend me your stories, suggestions and opinions on owning a V70. What problem areas should i look out for? What should i "notice" when i go drive the car etc etc etc....... I am trying to decide if I can get rid of one nice wagon with the worst suspension ever and step into one with a better ride and a lot of headches.

I did go on www.epnion.com and there were some really BAD comments about the 1998 V70 XC, which i dont think the V70 i am looking at is... but still.... I love my 850 Volvo, and have drive other V70's but not owned one... so help me out!

Any and all information is greatly appreciated

Ali
