850T decision 850 1995

I am considering the purchase of a 95 850t sedan with 69k from a local used car dealership. The asking price is $8999 which is on the low side, but upon inspection last week I discovered the car has a substantial amount of rust on its undercarriage and brake rotors. I would guess this means it was exposed to salty roads during the wintertime. Should I steer clear of this vehicle, or offer a lower price and replace the rusted parts on my own? Any help on this matter would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Andrew
