IPD/TME exhaust install - question about yanking the old stuff S70

My IPD/TME exhaust came in well ahead of schedule, but due to some wagon projects, tonight was the first night I've been able to start working on it. I was able to get most of the old stuff off, with some creative maneuvering and a hacksaw (had to cut one of the rear hangers off). The tailpipe/resonator-muffler/pre-resonator pipe came off in one big lump - hence the need to hack one of the hangers off.

Now, I just have the one pipe left, from cat to the resonator pipe. I think it has welded itself to the cat! Even after liberal applications of WD40, I can't get it to even budge at all - wiggling back and forth, twisting while pulling - nothing.

Is there a trick, or is it time to buy a Sawzall??
