Wood weel and wood trim S80

My wife and I are now a two volvo faimly, we are getting a '01 S80 and I was hoping to get some S80 advice feedback. Thanks in advance for your comments.
1) has anyone put the wood steering wheel on their car? if so was it easy or did you have the dealer do it?
2) has anyone put the wood slelf adheasive trim pieces on their car? how did it look along side the factory wood, and have you had any problems when relacing/repairing the radio? (my S70's radio has been out several times so I am concerned that volvo radios may problematic)
3) any major maintenacnce issues that I should watch out for? like the s/c/v70 problems with the upper motor mount, ABS controller etc.
