Front Strut Installation 850 1993

I have a 97 850 and I just used my regular tools and a rented strut spring compressor when I did it. I just replaced a broken rubber spring mount but it's the same job to remove the strut.

I don't emember anything special that I needed, but it's been so long now that I don't remember for sure. I do know that whatever tools I needed I already had in my tool box. Except for the strut spring compressor that is.

As long as you are in there put in some NEW upper rubber strut spring mounts. For all that work it better to replace them now than to have to get in there again when they break. IPD sells them or you can get them from the dealer.

It took me about 2 hours to do the one side in my car.
