Wiper Fix Photo 850 1996

Here is the picture (I hope). The two silver areas where the arrows are pointing are the spots that need to be filed down. The wiper arm in the picture is in the uppermost position, as I described in my original post. The wiper arm itself is rotated up to show the stops.

Someone else mentioned that it might be the wiper post that is moving. I have considered this, but my post doesn't move. It seemed as though it would be difficult to gain access to it, but I haven't really investigated this. If my car were still under warranty, I would certainly try and get the dealer to fix it. This is a pretty easy, and I believe permanent fix. I certainly wouldn't trade my car off over it.
