I double agree with these guys PLUS with an asking price of $7900 I'd open at $7200, stressing your concern about "all of that mileage". I bet you can get a few hundred knocked off the 7900 if you whine sufficiently. Remember, maintenance records prove only that the car was maintained to a certain standard. They do not prove that the car was not driven hard when cold or flat out every day, or not drag raced, etc. How's the front suspension? What color are the fluids - oil, power steering, trans, antifreeze? Undo the oil fill cap and see if it's got any sludge. Have a friend follow you while you nail the throttle hard, then let it coast. Any smoke when accelerating or coasting? Does it track straight, while cruising hand when braking? Look at the body panels carefully for signs of major repairs. Good luck and I hope you buy it right. These are great cars - at one time they WERE the fastest FWD cars in the world. I love (well, relatively) my black T-5R sedan.
