Glove Compartment 850 1993

You need to gently pry the box open enough to saw through the wire hasp using a hacksaw blade. I just used this procedure on my 93 850 and it worked very well. The secret is patience (and a sharp blade). I taped the dash to avoid damage with the hacksaw. You can order the new lock kit and hasp from any Volvo dealer. I got mine from the Borton's web site (www.borton.com). They were very helpful and shipped dirctly to my door in a few days!
