window gaurd adhesive S70

On the outside of my windows I have window/rain gaurds, one side has become
loose. The dealer says it's 3m double sided tape. the only 3m double sided
tape I can find is white and shows through the gaurd. doesn't look to good.
Whats on there now looks like a silicon clear adhesive or if it is 3m double sided tape it's clear. Does anyone know were I can find some 3m double sided CLEAR TAPE or can someone tell me what to use? Thanks
