Side Turn Markers 850 1994

My question is this: Are all of the side markers made by Volvo interchangable? Would the circumfrence of the back of a V70 or S80 or C70 side marker fit snugly in the side of an 850, 1994 in my case? The local dealer was no help, so I come to the place where I know I can get an answer. The 850 markers from Ipd are fine but I have seen some others that would be sharp. As for the harness, would the Ipd version work with any markers, supposing they are interchangable? I'd appreciate your wisdom. -Stu.
